Hammond’s Butchers, Matfield

Letters’ outlines are surface gilded with 23ct deep yellow gold leaf and enamel paints used for body, two-tone shadow and a single stroke applied on the inside for added depth. Letterforms were hand drawn, refined and scaled-up, from a photo of the original shop-front dating early 1900s
